Professional Experience:
Prior to joining ANM Global, Sonali worked as an Independent Legal Counsel in Toronto, Canada, strategically advising global IP, media and technology clients on multi-territory content development & licensing, artist rights aligned with Canadian union and guild frameworks, SaaS platform agreements, and the integration of AI within content and tech structures.
Earlier in her career, Sonali served in-house roles with leading media and entertainment companies in India, including OTT platforms, broadcast networks, and radio and music businesses. She supported scripted and unscripted content across the full lifecycle, from development and production to licensing and distribution. Her work also included end to end documentation for creators including content creators for digital projects, artists & performers for marquee live music IPs, as well as record label deals and IP related disputes.
Biography
Anisha Shetty joined ANM Global in November 2023 and is a Partner in the Media and Entertainment team of the firm. With over 11 years of experience in the media and entertainment sector, she brings a unique blend of legal and commercial expertise, reinforced by her academic background in both law and media, holding an LL.B. degree from Government Law College, Mumbai, after completing her degree in BMM (Mass Media - Journalism) from R. D. National College, Mumbai.
