Hemangi Abhyankar

Professional Experience: Hemangi started her legal career upon graduating as a “Bachelor of Laws” from the renowned Government Law College, Mumbai in 2006, and further went on to pursue her “Master of Laws (Business Law)” degree from the University of Mumbai. She is a registered Solicitor enrolled with the prestigious Bombay Incorporated Law Society along with being registered with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. Hemangi started her career as a litigator at the chambers of Senior Advocate Mr. Haresh Jagtiani and thereafter joined Naik Naik and Co. where she inter alia worked on various copyright infringement matters and media & entertainment related documentation. Hemangi has also worked at DSK Legal where she regularly advised and assisted clients in litigations and arbitrations relating to contractual disputes, corporate frauds, copyright infringement, etc. During her stint there, she was actively involved in the proceedings relating to succession to the position of spiritual head of Dawoodi Bohra community. Subsequently she worked at J. Sagar Associates where she focussed on litigation as well as real estate transactions for acquisition. Hemangi is acclaimed amongst her peers and clients for her versatile working style and attitude to be a result-oriented enabler who strongly believes in advising and resolving contractual, legal and regulatory challenges through her sound legal acumen and out of the box problem solving techniques.
